VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

PetPALS is seeking a dynamic individual to help train volunteers and coordinate client meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Review client requests for aid and create a schedule for PALS to deliver food, medicine or coordinate transport for pets to veterinarian appointments.
  • Connect with PALS to understand client needs and volunteer availabilities.
  • Train volunteers and PALS.
  • Some light office work, including making phone calls and answering emails.
  • Collaborating with Executive Director on new ideas, directions and venues for marketing and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel). Knowledge of HTML and graphic design a plus.
  • An effective communicator, both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of PetPALS and Clients we serve.

Start Date: Position open until filled. Hours: Up to 5 hours/week, preferably once a week in the office. Work from home can be arranged.
