GRANT COORDINATOR
PetPALS of Southern New Jersey is seeking a dynamic individual to help secure grants and funding to allow us to do our important work..

Duties:
The Grant Coordinator manages and executes appropriate strategies for grant identification, writing and management, and prospect research to identify and cultivate new sources of funding.

Establishes standards and deadlines for proposals.

Manage and execute appropriate strategies for identifying and soliciting new prospects and obtaining funding.

Manages the preparation and submission of proposals and reports in a timely fashion, ensuring completeness with enough lead time for other staff contributing to the proposal including work with the program teams, finance and senior staff.

Submit two grant proposals per month (24 annually).

Maintain records of funding sources and grant applicants, and report monthly to Executive Director. Board of Directors engagement as needed and required.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in donor relations/stewardship and grant writing.

Demonstrated success in identifying, cultivating and managing fundraising relationships with corporate contacts.

Significant writing experience and proven track record of accessing private grants in excess of $5,000, with the goal to raise $40,000 annually, inclusive of grants, gifts, and corporate sponsorships.

Compensation:
PetPALS of Southern New Jersey is a nonprofit organization offering a commission structure for each grant won. Details upon discussion.
